Intercultural Mom’s Club on-Line Session #2
The second session was held on the February 10th.
It was a small group with three of us this time. Warm and close communication was made throughout the 45 minutes session. Experiences of giving birth, baby food, a surprise over Japan’s custom to keep an umbilical cord become a topic of conversation.
One of the common difficulties for moms is isolation by not being able to go out due to the harsh winter of Iwate Prefecture of this year and the still on-going Covid-19 pandemic. For that reason, we realized that being connected on-line is treasured and significant.
A happy report was that a three month old baby girl loved Peekaboo, which we talked about in the first session. It brightened our day!
The third session will be on February the 24th. We will welcome a guest speaker as a “SENPAI mom -well experienced mom-” and talk about “Work Life Balance.”
