Intercultural Mom’s Club on-Line Session Started
January the 27th, the first session was held on-line.
One from Ireland residing in Kamaishi, one from Denmark joining from Rikuzentakata and one from Yokohama residing in Morioka joined the session. The club was not only intercultural but also turned out international including the facilitator from USA with Thai back ground.
One of the common interests was over languages. The mothers living in intercultural situation wish their children speak both Japanese and English. Also it was impressive to learn that in Denmark, it is important to have an equal relationship between parents and children or teachers and students, and having dialogues is treasured.
“The session time 45 minutes was not enough.” said a participant.
The second session will be on February 10th, and still some seats are available.
